Two of British techno's most protected names don't usually share a bill, let alone a park. fabric, the Farringdon club that survived a licence revocation and came back anyway, and Junction 2, the festival that made the Boston Manor Park canal side a fixture of the UK summer, are joining forces for a single outdoor daytime date: July 25, 2026, 14:00 to 22:00, under the M4 motorway.
The billing does the talking. Jeff Mills, techno's most severe minimalist, plays alongside Nina Kraviz, whose sets swing from raw acid to full throttle without warning. Marcel Dettmann goes back to back with DJ Hell, a pairing of Berghain's house sound against the man who ran International Deejay Gigolo when electroclash still felt dangerous. Nicolas Lutz, Peach and Tapefeed round out a bill built for three rooms rather than one stage.
Why stage it in daylight, under a motorway?
fabric's identity was built on the dark: a basement, a Bodysonic dancefloor, no windows, no clock. Junction 2 built its name on the opposite premise, a canal-side park that turns techno into a daytime, family-adjacent-hours event without losing the sound. Putting the two names on the same poster is the story here as much as who's playing: it reads as fabric testing whether its sound survives outside its own room, and Junction 2 testing whether its site can hold a bill this heavy.
Three rooms, one motorway overpass, and a lineup that would normally need a whole festival to justify itself.

Nicolas Lutz brings the raw, tool-heavy sets he's known for on smaller systems; Peach and Tapefeed fill out the undercard. The full lineup and room splits sit across See Tickets, Beatport Tickets, Resident Advisor and DICE, all pointing to the same July 25 date at Boston Manor Park.
What we think
A fabric-branded event outdoors, in daylight, is the kind of thing that either reads as a natural evolution for a club that's had to fight for its survival before, or as a brand doing a one-off for reach. Either way, a Jeff Mills and Nina Kraviz booking on the same three-room bill is worth paying attention to regardless of the venue's shape.
