What happened at Houghton Festival?
Houghton Festival confirmed that a woman died during its 2026 edition, held August 6 to 9 on the grounds of Houghton Hall in Norfolk. According to NME, she was found in her tent, and authorities were called to the scene around 6:10pm on Sunday, August 9, the festival's closing day. Her identity has not been released, and organisers said next of kin have been informed.
