How does the tool actually work?
It runs straight in the browser, no install, no login wall for the core version. You punch in the dimensions of your synth or pedalboard, depth, angle, width, cheek thickness, base height, whether you want a lip to stop gear sliding off, and it builds a matching stand around those numbers. The app packs the design into plates sized for a standard print bed and generates a small joint-fit test piece first, so you can calibrate your printer's tolerances before burning filament on the full stand. A Patreon tier unlocks a richer feature set, and Loopop has said a community library is coming, where producers will be able to share and remix each other's stand and pedalboard designs rather than start from a blank plate every time.
Loopop told Synth Anatomy directly that he used AI tools in the app's development, describing it as a genuine problem solver rather than another AI showcase.
Why does this matter beyond one YouTuber's side project?
Modular and hardware producers have been solving this exact problem with IKEA hacks and one-off carpentry for years, because the furniture industry was never going to design around a Eurorack case.
