RESISTANCE Ibiza's fifth season opens tonight at Amnesia, the first of nine straight Wednesdays running through September 16. Tonight's bill is stacked: Boris Brejcha headlines alongside Eli Brown, HI-LO, Massano and Space 92 b2b Popof. Amnesia is opening both its rooms, the Main Room and the Terrace, for the opening night, the same double-room treatment reserved for the season closer in September. For the seven Wednesdays in between, RESISTANCE runs on the Terrace alone.

Adam Beyer is the constant. The Drumcode boss is booked for all nine dates as season resident, the one name on every flyer from July 22 to September 16.

Why does Eric Prydz's return matter more than another Beyer date?

The freshest hook in Season 5 isn't Beyer, it's who's rotating alongside him. ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha and Eric Prydz each headline three Wednesdays as co-headliners, and Prydz's three dates, August 5, September 2 and the September 16 closing party, put him back on an Amnesia stage for the first time in over ten years.

That's a real booking call, not a footnote. Prydz built his name on progressive house and the arena-scale EPIC live show, a register that sits a step away from the harder techno RESISTANCE has used to define itself at Amnesia. Handing him the closing party, on the same season structure as Beyer's weekly Drumcode-coded runs, is RESISTANCE betting its crowd will follow a bigger, more melodic name across the room, not just the four-to-the-floor purists. Brejcha's three dates carry their own weight too: RESISTANCE has locked in his only Ibiza appearances of the entire 2026 season, which makes each of his three Wednesdays a genuine one-off rather than a stop on a wider island run.

RESISTANCE isn't just an Ibiza night, it's a year-round residency circuit that also runs at M2 in Miami, the promoter's attempt to bridge two of house and techno's biggest club markets under one brand. Building the Amnesia season around one weekly resident plus three rotating three-date headliners is a hedge: Beyer's name anchors the brand's consistency across nine weeks, while ARTBAT, Brejcha and Prydz each give the season a fresh peak to sell against, spaced out so no single Wednesday has to carry the whole summer.
