A Berlin Rave Hero Signed to Capitol and Sampled the House Anthem. Sellout or Gospel?
Marlon Hoffstadt, the Berlin rave figure who performs as DJ Daddy Trance, has signed to Capitol Records for his debut album 'Das Ist Daddy', out 7 August, and built its lead single 'Party People' on Marshall Jefferson's 1986 Chicago house cornerstone 'Move Your Body'.
