Sam Shepherd's debut ballet score for San Francisco Ballet's "Mere Mortals", recorded with the company's orchestra, arrives as a 14-track Deutsche Grammophon album on August 28, with live dates at the Edinburgh Festival and Sadler's Wells this September.
