Who is the producer headlining Fake DJ #3?

Ma Haiping is a Shanghai producer who has spent more than a decade building the most Detroit-credentialed catalog of any Chinese techno artist. In the early 2010s he became the first Chinese producer pressed on a Detroit label, when Scan 7's Cratesavers International put out his EP "The Chinese Connection." Nearly a decade later, Jeff Mills signed his album "Chang'e-4" to Axis Records, the label Mills founded, naming the record for the Chinese spacecraft that landed on the moon's far side in 2019. Ma Haiping told Neocha in 2016 that sci-fi television he watched as a kid in Shanghai, including reruns of "The Time Tunnel," shaped the atmosphere he chases in the studio, alongside memories of a local news program that used to sign off with Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" in the late 1980s.

Fake DJ #3 runs September 12, 2026, with the venue address revealed only 24 hours ahead of doors, a two-room setup on a Turbosound rig. Ma Haiping headlines alongside support from AngeliKa, CASAMUSICA, Casey Anderson, DJ Kirby, JayMe, Jeremy Cheung and Zora Chan. Tickets range from HKD250 general admission to HKD300 on the door, with a HKD800 group rate for four.
