What's actually coming back?
DIAGE Festival returns to Bangkok on October 31 and November 1, 2026, its first edition since 2024. The festival skipped 2025 entirely, and this time it lands at Cloud 11 on Sukhumvit, a venue it has never used before. The format hasn't changed: DIAGE still mixes experimental electronic music with live coding sessions, talks, workshops and immersive digital visuals from a mix of international and Thai artists, rather than running a straight club lineup.
Why does the live coding and digital art angle matter?
Live coding is a niche but real discipline: performers write and manipulate code on stage in real time to generate sound and visuals, instead of triggering pre-made tracks, a practice that grew out of Europe's algorave circuit. Building a festival around that, plus immersive digital art, puts DIAGE closer to an audiovisual art event than a typical techno or house festival, and organizers say they're backing that ambition with lighting and sound engineered to European festival standards. The program also folds in a reimagined track from Cesar B. de Guzman, one of Thailand's pioneering electronic musicians, anchoring an otherwise international lineup to the country's own electronic history.
Who's playing, and what does it cost?
The 2026 lineup is built around Evian Christ, Tzusing and Slikback, alongside Kim Laughton, Tasya (2) and MONOCOLOR. Tickets run ฿1,990 to ฿3,890 for the two days, with doors running 3pm to 11pm each day, according to Resident Advisor's listing for the event.
