Capriati didn't grow up in Naples proper. He's from Caserta, a city about 25 miles north, and he came up DJing locally under the alias "Prince J" before switching to his own name in 2006, the year that effectively starts the clock on the "20 years" being marked here. Naples is where he found his footing as a resident and where mentors Rino Cerrone and Markantonio pulled him into the wider Italian, then international, techno circuit. Staging the anniversary at Ex Base Nato, a decommissioned NATO military site repurposed for large-scale events, keeps the show tied to that home turf rather than exporting the milestone to a market built for tourists.

The lineup is built on contrast rather than a straight techno bill. Chicago house pioneer Honey Dijon shares the day with Chris Stassy, Josh Baker and Quest, pulling the event away from a pure tech house victory lap and toward the wider house lineage Capriati's own sound has always leaned on.
